Math Tutoring
CAPA is offering free math tutoring for the 2025-2026 school year! All students are welcome to join our sessions.
We offer two types of sessions: Lectures and HW Help
Lecture sessions are perfect for students who wish to learn new topics. It is suggested for students who attend lecture sessions to attend it weekly to get the most out of it.
HW Help sessions are for students who have questions on their homework assignments, and need extra clarification or practice.

Diamond Bar High School, 9th Grade
Hi, I’m Andrew. Currently taking: Algebra 2 Trigonometry Honors. I can help with Algebra 1, 2, and prealgebra topics. I strive to help others learn math. I have gained experiences teaching students in the past.
Alex Lu
Walnut High School, 11th Grade
Hello,I am Alex Lu. I have a keen interest in math and related subjects. I can help you understand the concepts of Algebra 1, Geometry&Algebra 2 better. Because it’s crucial to doing well in this class. I will open a Geometry tutoring class and you can join at 11：00 am on Sunday.
Lucas He
Walnut High School, 10th Grade
Hello, I’m Lucas He. Math is one of my favorite subjects. I’ve taken Algebra 2 and am currently learning Pre-Calculus. I have earned As in all my math classes, and I enjoy being challenged to think logically and find different ways to solve a problem. Excelling in math is the best way to improve one’s critical thinking skills, and that is why I hope to help students build confidence in math by explaining things in a clear and simple way.

Hello, I’m Jonathan and I’m a 10th grader at WHS. I have participated in the AMC for a few years, so if you have some questions about AMC 8 I can do my best to help. I am currently taking Math Analysis H and can help with any HW algebra 2 and below. I can also do lectures on topics you need help with.
Ai Teng
Portola High School, 11th Grade
My name is Ai (Christina) Teng, and I am a junior at Portola High School. I am fluent in both English and Chinese, and have a strong academic foundation across multiple subjects. I am interested in tutoring Math (up to AP Calculus BC), English (up to 10th grade), Drawing, and Science (up to AP Biology and AP Physics 1). I scored a 5 on the AP Calculus BC exam in May 2025, and I plan to major in Mathematics in the future.
Eason Jiang

Hello, I am Eason Jiang. I did the Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2 and Pre-calculus teaching before, with about 100hrs volunteer hours last year. I am currently 10th grade and I am currently taking Calculus BC in Diamond Bar High School and Multi-Variable Calculus in Mt.Sac. I’m going to take Linear Algebra in the up coming spring. I want to teach higher levels of mathematics this year to improve my teaching skills. I want to turor pre-Calcu, Calculus 1/AB, Math analysis, Calc H (Mach 5) or Calculus 2/BC this year.
