組織性質

本會為非營利性之組織。凡認同支持本會宗旨,並有小孩在讀核桃高中之華裔家長義工,皆可成為本會之會員

本會宗旨

本會以提升華裔子弟在家庭,學校及社會之褔利,並促進家庭與學校訊息之溝通為宗旨。

職能

1. 促進華裔家長與學校之間的交流，以增進相互瞭解。

2. 幫助剛來之華裔家長及學生，了解核桃高中之教務與環境。

3. 籌款予核桃高中，以提高教育設施和水準。

4. 提供教育資源給學生和家長。

Organization

Chinese American Parent Association of Walnut (CAPA-Walnut) is a Non-profit Organization 501(c) (3) (Tax ID: 95-4803421). members of CAPA-Walnut are parent volunteers who are agreeing with and in support of the purpose of the Association, and have children attending Walnut High School.

Purpose

The purpose of the Association is to promote student welfare at home, in school and in the community, and to strengthen the communication between parents, and Walnut High School.

Functions of the Association

1. To enhance the communication and mutual understanding between Chinese-American parents and school.

2. To assist the parents, including new comer to familiarize and adapt to the new environment of WHS.

3. To raise funds for WHS to improve school facilities, equipment and education.

4. To provide educational resources to students and parents.
