CAPA Celebrates Student Achievement at WHS Seal of Biliteracy Ceremony

On the afternoon of April 29, Walnut High School held its Seal of Biliteracy award ceremony. A total of 150 students were recognized for their proficiency in two or more languages, including Chinese, English, French, German, and Spanish—demonstrating strong language skills and global readiness.

As a proud supporter of this special event, the Chinese American Parent Association (CAPA) added a warm and festive touch by offering pineapple cakes and hosting a graduation lei fundraiser, sharing in the celebration with students, families, and staff.

This ceremony not only recognized students’ academic achievements, but also marked a meaningful beginning to the graduation season. CAPA looks forward to continuing its partnership with the school in supporting multicultural excellence and celebrating student success.
